About Me

I’m a Northwestern Medill graduate with a background in journalism and history, originally from Chicago and now based in New York City. I’m currently a city and schools beat reporter at The Rye Record and a research assistant for Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer Jonathan Eig, while also freelancing for American Libraries Magazine and the Hyde Park Herald. My experience spans daily news and long-form reporting, with a focus on social issues and politics.

Outside of journalism, I love discovering new music, trying new restaurants and reading, whether fiction or nonfiction. I’m always open to full-time journalism roles and freelance work, so feel free to reach out.
